During the BVB KLE Tech Leadership Summit held at KLE Tech Auditorium in Hubballi, Ashok Shettar (Pro Chancellor of KLE Technological University) emphasized the critical need for sustained discussions on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors, including education, banking, defence, and healthcare. The summit, organized in collaboration with the BVB KLE Tech Alumni Association, focused on three emerging themes: AI and Automation, Semiconductor and Embedded Systems, and Global Capability Centres. Brahmanand Patil, president of Vector Informatik India Pvt. Ltd., delivered a keynote address discussing how AI is revolutionizing the automotive sector, particularly through the development of vehicles that can be upgraded with AI functionalities. He advocated for enhanced innovation in the automotive industry through strategic partnerships. The event also featured panel discussions on topics such as 'Physical AI' and 'FinTech Fireside,' with participation from industry leaders and academics. The summit aimed to foster collaboration between industry and academia to better prepare professionals for future challenges.
