Dell has introduced its latest XPS 13 model, priced at $599 for students and $699 for the general public, positioning it as a direct competitor to Apple's MacBook Neo. This new laptop is equipped with Intel's 'Wildcat Lake' Series 3 CPU, which balances affordability with performance. Weighing 2.2 pounds and featuring a 13.4-inch touch display with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the XPS 13 offers a lightweight option for students and professionals alike. Dell's COO Jeff Clarke emphasized that the XPS 13 maintains its premium identity despite the competitive pricing, which is particularly appealing given the rising costs of memory. The device supports up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, significantly outpacing the Neo's offerings. Additionally, it includes two USB-C 3.2 ports, enhancing its connectivity options. The XPS 13 is set to launch in summer 2026, with higher configurations expected later in the year.
