At the Shivayogi Siddharameshwara Jayanti celebration in Mysuru, Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stressed that governance and wealth must be shared equally among all societal sections. He stated that achieving an egalitarian society is a priority for his government, which has implemented five guarantee schemes benefiting seven crore people without discrimination. Siddaramaiah emphasized the teachings of social reformers, including B. R. Ambedkar, advocating for political freedom and education as essential tools for eliminating caste divisions. He noted that the celebration was moved to Mysuru to directly address community issues, highlighting the relevance of Shivayogi Siddharameshwara's ideals of work and social service. The event also featured the presentation of the Kayaka Yogi Siddharameshwara award to senior writer Prof. S. G. Siddaramaiah, along with the release of the book Siddharama Bellikirana.
