Following the successful search for Belgian tourist Celine Cremer earlier this year, a group of volunteers has come together to form FOLLO (Find Our Lost Loved Ones) in Tasmania. This group is now focusing its efforts on locating 76-year-old Peter Willoughby, who has been missing since October 2022 after he walked ahead of a group in the Hollybank Reserve. His partner, Katrina Clifford, expressed her desperation for answers, stating she wants closure regarding his disappearance. The Tasmania Police conducted an extensive search for Willoughby but have not found any leads. The newly formed FOLLO group, comprising around 70 volunteers, launched its first search today, equipped with search techniques and knowledge of the terrain. Volunteer Alex Smith highlighted the group's commitment to helping families of missing persons, stating that they view these individuals as loved ones rather than just cases. While the search carries inherent risks, the group is determined to document their efforts and continue seeking answers for Willoughby’s family.
