In a significant police operation in Patna, Bihar, India, five individuals linked to a jewelry shop robbery were arrested following an encounter on Wednesday. The robbery, which occurred on April 19, was reported at the Ramkrishna Nagar Police Station. One of the suspects, Dilip Kumar, sustained a gunshot injury during the encounter and has been identified as the prime suspect in the robbery and an assault on the shopkeeper. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikey K Sharma stated that the police acted on specific intelligence regarding the movement of one suspect, Udit Kumar Sharma, who led them to his accomplices. The police recovered 1,700 grams of stolen silver, two firearms, and two motorcycles used in the crime.
