Sebastian Rancik, a 6-foot-11 forward who played for the Colorado Buffaloes, has committed to Florida State University after entering the NCAA transfer portal. Last season, Rancik was a key player for Colorado, starting in 26 of his 29 appearances and averaging 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. Despite shooting 40.4% from the field, he demonstrated his shooting ability with a 33.1% success rate from beyond the arc. Rancik chose the Seminoles over several other programs, including Kentucky, where he recently visited. His departure adds to the challenges facing Colorado, which has lost three of its top four players this offseason. The Buffaloes have made one addition so far, bringing in Noah Feddersen, a center from North Dakota State University, as they look to fill the gaps left by departing players.
