At 26 years old, Badoni has averaged just 21.50 in eight matches, leading to his exclusion from the lineup in LSG's recent match against the Mumbai Indians (MI), which resulted in a sixth consecutive loss for the team. Srikkanth remarked that Badoni struggles to hit the ball effectively and has only two shots despite playing for five years. He expressed frustration over LSG's overall instability, pointing to the team's coaching staff and captain Rishabh Pant's ineffective leadership. Additionally, former cricketer Sadagoppan Ramesh noted that Pant's captaincy has negatively impacted his batting performance, with an average of 25.50 this season. Ramesh criticized Pant's tactical decisions, suggesting that his lack of clarity is hindering team performance.
