Bayern Munich will unveil a modified Bundesliga trophy on May 16, 2024, after the original Meisterschale ran out of space for engravings. The new design includes five silver bands on the outer ring, enhancing its capacity for future champions. This upgrade, carried out by Koch & Bergfeld, ensures the trophy can accommodate the next 30 years of winners. Historically, the Meisterschale has seen previous modifications, including a silver ring added in 1981 and larger engraving plates in 2009. As Bayern Munich approaches their 13th title in 14 years, they are also in contention for a treble, leading 2-1 against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals and preparing for a German Cup semifinal against Bayer Leverkusen.
