Grihitha Vichare, an 11-year-old girl from Thane, India, has made headlines by completing an extraordinary expedition called 'Mission India Summit', where she scaled the highest peaks in 16 states within just 33 days. Starting from Maharashtra on April 23, 2026, and concluding at Gujarat’s highest point on May 25, 2026, Grihitha faced significant logistical challenges. She traveled through over 30 cities, taking 15 flights and covering a total of 9,141 kilometers by air, alongside 5,480 kilometers by road and 618 kilometers by train. Her journey included summiting peaks such as Kalsubai in Maharashtra and Sandakphu in West Bengal. Grihitha's mission was not solely about personal achievement; she raised awareness for girl child education and women's empowerment by unfurling banners for the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' initiative at each summit. This remarkable young adventurer has previously trekked to the Everest Base Camp and summited Mount Kilimanjaro, showcasing her exceptional skills and determination.
