AGP's data center arm, Zerra DC, has successfully secured a ₹1,200 crore (approximately $145 million USD) loan from Tata Capital to finance the development of its second data center in Navi Mumbai, India. This new facility will feature a capacity of 200 megawatts and is currently in the process of finalizing contracts with major cloud hosting providers. The project is part of a broader initiative where AGP, in collaboration with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) and Stonepeak-backed Digital Edge, is working on a larger 300 megawatt hyperscale facility in the same region. AGP has been active in India for nearly 20 years, focusing on sustainable infrastructure and real asset development, with a current portfolio that includes 5,000 megawatts of generation capacity under development and 22 million square feet of built space. This investment reflects the increasing demand for data centers in India, driven by the growth of cloud computing and digital services.
