During a recent visit to Fatehpur in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation for eight significant development projects totaling ₹153.81 crore. Notable among these is a ₹103.65 crore bridge over the Beas River, which will connect Terrace and Sthana, improving access for residents of Fatehpur and Jaswan-Pragpur assembly constituencies. Other projects include a ₹13.60 crore healthcare facility and a ₹10 crore industrial area aimed at boosting local employment. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced financial assistance for local women's groups and confirmed the return of the Chief Engineer's office for the Shah Canal project to Fatehpur. Sukhu praised local MLA Bhavani Singh Pathania for his commitment to public service and understanding of local issues.
