Dali has introduced the Vega, a premium all-in-one wireless audio system aimed at delivering high-fidelity sound without the complexities of traditional hi-fi setups. The Vega is equipped with 400 watts of amplification distributed across eight channels, featuring a combination of an ultra-light 25mm soft dome tweeter, midrange, and bass drivers arranged to minimize cabinet resonance. This design aims to produce 'room-filling sound with clarity and detail'. The system employs Adaptive Stereo Enhancement (ASE) technology to create a panoramic soundstage and Adaptive Orientation Adjustment (AOA) for real-time output adjustments, enhancing spatial accuracy. The Vega can be positioned horizontally or mounted on walls, making it adaptable to various spaces. It supports multiple connectivity options including HDMI ARC, RCA, and optical inputs, as well as streaming services like Spotify Connect and Apple Airplay 2. The system, which features a modern design with wood and aluminum, will be available in September for £3599 ($4500), positioning it at a higher price point than competitors like the Ruark Audio R410 and Cambridge Audio Evo One.
