Australian allrounder Will Sutherland has re-signed with Yorkshire County Cricket Club for the 2026 Vitality Blast and two rounds of the Rothesay County Championship. The 26-year-old, who captains Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League, had a notable previous season with Yorkshire, taking 10 wickets and scoring 208 runs. Sutherland expressed enthusiasm about returning to Headingley, emphasizing the strong bonds he formed with teammates and the positive momentum the team built towards the end of last season. Yorkshire, which finished second from bottom in the Blast North Group last year, has made significant changes to its roster, including the addition of Moeen Ali and AJ Tye, as well as overseas players Naveen-ul-Haq and Logan van Beek.
