Many fans believe that failure to win the league title this season could lead to Arteta's departure. Despite these external pressures, the club's management has publicly supported Arteta, emphasizing the long-term project he has initiated. With Arsenal still in contention for the league and the UEFA Champions League, Winterburn believes it is premature to discuss Arteta's future negatively. He stated, 'I think it’s also disrespectful to the club to be talking about a manager that could present something to Arsenal that they haven’t had for a long time.'
