Lizzo is embarking on a new chapter in her music career with the release of her album 'Bitch', her first full-length project since 'Special' in 2022. The album is deeply personal, allowing Lizzo to reclaim her narrative after years of public scrutiny. She emphasized that instead of changing herself, this project is about taking back control of her story and reconnecting with her true self. The bold title, 'Bitch', was inspired by a joke from comedian Katt Williams, highlighting the challenges faced by Black women in the industry. Lizzo explained that the album's name change from 'Love in Real Life' reflects significant societal shifts and her evolving perspective. In addition to her music, Lizzo is set to release a children's book titled 'Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin'', which encourages self-discovery and creativity in children, mirroring her own experiences with music growing up.
