In Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh, India, two suspects identified as Rinku and Bharat were arrested following a police encounter in Khurja. Both men were wanted in connection with a triple murder that took place during a birthday party on the night of April 25-26, where three family members, Amardeep (30), Manish (28), and Akash (18), were shot dead. The arrests occurred during a joint operation by local police and a SWAT team. During the operation, the suspects attempted to flee and opened fire on the police, leading to their injuries. They were found with an illegal pistol, a country-made firearm, live cartridges, and a digital video recorder (DVR) related to the crime. The police encounter has led to the suspension of four officers for alleged negligence in handling the case. Another accused, Mayank, was previously arrested in a separate encounter, while two others are in custody.
