A Boston firefighter, Robert Kilduff Jr., tragically lost his life after a fall while battling a house fire in Dorchester, Massachusetts, on Saturday, May 23. The 53-year-old firefighter fell from the third floor of a residence on Treadway Road while engaged in firefighting efforts. Fire crews managed to bring the fire under control in about 20 minutes, utilizing both interior and exterior attack strategies. Kilduff had dedicated 24 years to the Boston Fire Department and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
