This six-lane expressway, which can be expanded to eight lanes, connects Meerut to Prayagraj and cuts travel time from 11 hours to just 6 hours. Modi emphasized the expressway's significance in India's development amid global unrest, asserting that Uttar Pradesh has transformed from a state known for potholes to one with the most expressways in the country. The expressway, built at a cost of ₹36,230 crore (approximately $4.4 billion USD), connects 12 key districts, including Hapur, Bulandshahr, and Rae Bareli.
