The Bihar government is making significant strides to operationalize 19 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the state. Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit has directed all relevant departments and district magistrates to expedite the issuance of pending no-objection certificates (NOCs) and resolve land clearance issues. A recent report from the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) highlights that while suitable land has been identified in various districts, several projects are stalled due to pending approvals, encroachments, and infrastructure gaps. Key areas awaiting NOCs include Bhagalpur, Kaimur, Munger, and Muzaffarpur. The government has also identified temporary buildings for immediate use to start academic sessions, ensuring that education can commence without delay. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance access to quality central school education across Bihar once these KVs become operational.
