At the 13th convocation ceremony of Graphic Era Deemed University in Dehradun, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi urged students to embrace lifelong learning, stating it is crucial in today's fast-evolving world. He declared that the 21st century would be India's, driven by its youth's talent and innovation. Joshi highlighted that India has become the fastest-growing economy, attributing this growth to the hard work of its young population. He referenced significant achievements like the Chandrayaan mission and the Digital India initiative, emphasizing that the future will be shaped by research and innovation. Uttarakhand's Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat echoed these sentiments, asserting that education serves not only to earn degrees but also to develop personalities and contribute to nation-building. The university's founder, Kamal Ghanshala, inspired students to focus on creating jobs and enhancing manufacturing and research quality. The event saw the awarding of degrees to 3,691 students, including 34 PhD scholars and 57 gold medalists, marking a significant milestone for the university and its contributions to education in Uttarakhand.
