On May 4, a special Work-Site School for the children of migrant workers was inaugurated at the Rajapushpa Labour Camp in Narsingi, Hyderabad. The initiative, led by Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh and Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G Srijana, aims to provide a safe educational environment for children from various states seeking livelihood in Telangana. Currently, 58 children from Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Assam are receiving educational support. Ramesh highlighted the importance of migrant workers in the region's development and urged stakeholders to take responsibility for educating children in over 100 labour camps in Cyberabad. Srijana expressed hope that the school would evolve into a permanent educational system, ensuring the safety and well-being of these children. The program also advocates for teaching in the children's mother tongues to enhance learning effectiveness.
