The Houston Texans are currently monitoring the recovery of wide receiver Tank Dell, who is still not cleared for contact following a serious knee injury sustained in December 2024 during a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dell, who was carted off the field after tearing multiple ligaments and dislocating his kneecap, missed the entire 2025 season due to the severity of his injuries. During the first day of voluntary workouts, Dell was seen stretching and working out, which brings hope for his return. General manager Nick Caserio stated that Dell's recovery is day-to-day and that a clearer picture of his availability for training camp will emerge as the spring progresses. The Texans may also consider adding depth to their wide receiver corps through the upcoming draft if Dell is not ready for the season. Dell, a third-round pick in 2023 from the University of Houston, previously made a significant impact with 98 catches for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first two seasons.
