Yorkshire County Cricket Club has announced the signing of Hasan Ali, a 31-year-old Pakistani cricketer, as a replacement for Naveen-ul-Haq, who is unable to play due to a stress fracture in his right shoulder. Naveen had previously missed the T20 World Cup in February due to this injury. Hasan Ali, known for his experience in T20 cricket, has represented Pakistan in 57 matches and has been performing well in various leagues, including the Pakistan Super League (PSL). In his past appearances in the T20 Blast from 2023 to 2025, he claimed 44 wickets at an impressive average of 14.93. Yorkshire's general manager of cricket, Gavin Hamilton, expressed disappointment over Naveen's absence but highlighted Hasan's exceptional skills and experience as a valuable asset for the team. Hasan is expected to play throughout the Blast group stage and in two County Championship fixtures against Warwickshire and Leicestershire, bringing much-needed depth to Yorkshire's bowling lineup.
