The Food Safety Department in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has taken decisive action against food safety violations by sealing the Siddhivinayak Ice Cream Factory. This operation was initiated following directives from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who has emphasized the need to combat food adulteration statewide. Indore Collector Shivam Verma confirmed that the district administration is actively pursuing a campaign against businesses that compromise public health. During the raid, officials discovered that the factory was operating without a valid license and was failing to adhere to basic hygiene standards. The conditions under which the ice cream was produced were deemed extremely unsanitary, posing health risks to consumers. As a result, the factory's operations have been halted, and all materials found on-site have been confiscated. Samples have also been taken for further analysis, with additional actions planned to address the violations. This crackdown is part of a larger initiative aimed at ensuring food safety and protecting the health of the public in Madhya Pradesh.
