The company, which has filed confidentially for a listing, is considering going public as early as October 2023. With a valuation of $965 billion from its latest funding round, Anthropic has overtaken its competitor OpenAI in valuation for the first time. JPMorgan Chase & Co. is also expected to assist with the IPO, and additional banks may join the consortium. This move comes amid a wave of major private companies preparing for public listings this year.
