Ryu Ga Gotoko has officially announced the release of 'Stranger Than Heaven' for winter, showcasing a new trailer during the Xbox showcase. The game centers on Makoto Daito, a boy of mixed Japanese and American heritage, whose adventure begins in 1915 when he sneaks onto a smuggler's ship, played by Snoop Dogg. Spanning five decades, the narrative follows Daito's transformation into Makoto Tojo, the founder of the Tojo Clan, a central element of the Yakuza series. The game traverses various locations in Japan, including Kokura, Fukuoka in 1915, Kure, Hiroshima in 1929, and Shinjuku, Tokyo in 1965. The gameplay promises more than just fighting, allowing players to create music and scout performers, enhancing the overall experience. The cast also features Yu Shirota as Daito and utilizes the likeness of the late Bunta Sugawara, known for his roles in yakuza films.
