After Orton's defeat, McAfee took to social media to announce his exit, stating, "First morning since 2017 babe is completely out of the wrestling business, thanks to [Jelly Roll]." The commentator was stretchered out of the arena after being put through a table by Jelly Roll during the match. Despite returning to the ring in a neck brace, McAfee was ultimately hit with an RKO by Orton, leading to Rhodes retaining his title.
