Pagasa weather specialist Veronica Torres noted that the LPA is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) soon. As a result, the eastern part of Mindanao is currently experiencing rain due to the LPA's trough. Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are anticipated in this region. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and other parts of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers from localized thunderstorms. Additionally, a southwesterly windflow is bringing rain to areas west of Mindanao, including the Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan. The Easterlies are also affecting Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, and Quezon, contributing to localized rain showers.
