Air India Express has launched a new direct flight between Chandigarh, Punjab, India, and Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to meet the rising demand during the summer season. The flight will depart from Mumbai at 4:25 PM and arrive in Chandigarh at 6:45 PM, while the return flight leaves Chandigarh at 7:15 PM and reaches Mumbai at 9:35 PM. This addition increases the total number of daily flights on this route to seven, with eight flights operating on Mondays. On Mondays, IndiGo also offers an extra morning flight departing at 11:10 AM. However, airlines have cautioned that adverse weather conditions in cities like Delhi, Dehradun, Ranchi, and Kolkata may lead to disruptions in flight schedules. Recent delays have already been reported at Chandigarh airport for flights arriving from Jaipur and Dharamshala, as well as for an Air India flight to Delhi.
