This comes after Singh's abrupt exit from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, which FWICE responded to swiftly. Vankat pointed out that in 2023, around 242 editors had raised similar concerns regarding delayed payments and poor working conditions but received no action from FWICE. She sarcastically questioned the federation's efficiency, stating that editors were not deemed 'cool enough' for a response. FWICE's decision to ban Singh was based on a complaint from Akhtar, who alleged that Singh's withdrawal caused significant disruption to the film's production schedule. Despite FWICE's attempts to communicate with Singh, the actor's spokesperson reiterated his commitment to professionalism and respect within the industry, choosing not to engage in public speculation.
