The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is anticipated to declare the Class 12 results for 2026 by the end of April. This year, around 18 to 19 lakh students took the exams, which were conducted from February 17 to April 10. Although the official date and time for the results have yet to be confirmed, the online evaluation of answer sheets may lead to an earlier announcement compared to previous years, where results were typically released in May. Students can check their results on the official CBSE results website, results.cbse.nic.in, and also through DigiLocker, SMS, and the UMANG app. To download their results, students will need to enter their login credentials. Those who do not achieve the required 33 percent in each subject may apply for compartment exams, with the possibility of receiving grace marks for those close to passing.
