Coforge, headquartered in New Delhi, has completed the acquisition of Encora, a Silicon Valley-based AI firm, valued at $2.5 billion. To facilitate this transaction, Coforge secured a $550 million loan with a fixed interest rate of 4.6% from a consortium of global lenders, including JPMorgan Chase Bank and Bank of America. As a result, the company has canceled its plans for a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to raise additional capital. The financial consolidation of Encora will take effect on May 1, 2026, and Coforge anticipates that its fiscal year 2027 results will reflect eleven months of Encora's operations. The integration process is reportedly ahead of schedule, with expected cost synergies on general and administrative expenses ranging from 20% to 25%. All key leaders from Encora have accepted roles in the new organizational structure.
