The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign diplomacy, particularly his meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary described Gandhi's comments as indicative of an 'immature mindset and frustration.' He argued that Gandhi's inability to appreciate India's growing global stature under Modi is evident in his criticisms. Chaudhary emphasized that personal relationships, such as those between world leaders, play a crucial role in international diplomacy, a nuance he believes Gandhi overlooks. Furthermore, Chaudhary defended Modi's foreign visits, stating they are designed to bolster India's economic and strategic interests, attract investments, and create job opportunities. He also targeted the opposition parties, particularly the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP), accusing them of engaging in 'vote-bank and opportunistic politics' that have historically undermined India's image.
