The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to announce the results of the Madhyamik Exam 2026 on May 8, 2026. This year, approximately 9.71 lakh students participated in the examination held from February 2 to February 12, 2026, across 2,682 centres statewide. Among the candidates, 544,606 were girls, 426,733 were boys, and there was one transgender candidate. Students can check their results online by entering their roll number and date of birth on the official websites, wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in. The online scorecard will provide essential details, including subject-wise marks and overall pass/fail status. Additionally, digital marksheets will be accessible through the DigiLocker app or website, making it easier for students to obtain their results. The announcement of results is highly anticipated, as it marks the beginning of the admission process for Class 11, allowing students to plan their future academic paths.
