This captivating structure resembles a sea slug and is a dense cloud of gas and dust, sculpted by powerful stellar winds from nearby massive stars. These winds have created a chaotic environment where new stars are being born, marking it as a cosmic nursery. One notable feature in the image is a jet of plasma from a young protostar, known as Herbig-Haro 399, which plays a crucial role in understanding stellar growth.
