Samuel Omitiran, a 22-year-old man from Monroe, New York, was arrested for indecent exposure and sexual assault at the Westfield-Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, New Jersey. The incident occurred on Friday around 1:40 p.m. when security personnel at Old Navy reported that Omitiran was masturbating while in line and exposed himself to shoppers, including children. According to Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti, Omitiran masturbated to ejaculation before fleeing the store. Police Sgt. Matt McGuire tracked him through the mall and into a parking lot, where Officer Don Liu observed him getting into a vehicle. Liu stopped the car and arrested Omitiran without incident. He now faces serious charges, including sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, along with lewdness and criminal sexual contact. Following his arrest, Omitiran was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he will await his first court appearance.
