Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed officials to establish revenue lok adalats to facilitate the swift resolution of land disputes. This initiative is part of a broader five-year action plan under the Viksit Bharat-2047 framework. During a review meeting, Saini emphasized the importance of mutual agreements between parties involved in disputes and mandated that deputy commissioners, sub-divisional magistrates, and tehsildars be assigned specific targets for dispute resolution. To enhance public awareness, he instructed that information about these lok adalats be disseminated through patwaris across all districts. Additionally, Saini called for the introduction of new online services to streamline government interactions with citizens. Currently, around 4 lakh registrations have been completed under a paperless initiative, with no pending applications older than 15 days. Furthermore, efforts are being made to digitize and geo-tag land records in collaboration with the agriculture department. The CM also discussed plans for improved disaster management, including the establishment of AI-based command centres and the exploration of robotic assistance in firefighting operations.
