'Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,' a new spinoff from the acclaimed series 'The Big Bang Theory,' has released its teaser and is set to premiere on July 23. The show stars Kevin Sussman as comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, who inadvertently causes a multiverse crisis by breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard. To restore reality, Stuart is joined by his girlfriend Denise (played by Lauren Lapkus), geologist friend Bert (Brian Posehn), and the troublesome quantum physicist Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). The series promises to feature alternate-universe versions of familiar characters from 'The Big Bang Theory.' Co-created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady, the show is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television. This marks the fourth installment in the 'Big Bang' universe, following the original series and its prequels, including 'Young Sheldon' and the upcoming spinoff 'Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.'
