Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the 27th Central Zonal Council meeting will be held in Ujjain district in 2027. This decision was made during the 26th council meeting in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah agreed to the proposal. CM Yadav emphasized that the meeting will also review preparations for the Simhastha-2028 event, focusing on civic arrangements and disaster management systems. He highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has overcome Naxalism, marking the recent council meeting in Bastar as a significant national message regarding this achievement. Additionally, Yadav welcomed a recent court verdict concerning the Bhojshala complex dispute and expressed gratitude for the Central government's increase in the minimum support price (MSP) for various crops, which will benefit local farmers. He also noted the state's collaboration with France following the Indo-France Conclave, which included participation from around 150 representatives from both countries. Furthermore, the state government organized a training workshop for newly appointed officials to enhance their administrative and governance skills.
