During the unveiling of the logo and theme for the upcoming India-Africa Forum Summit-IV in New Delhi, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stressed the significance of the India-Africa partnership as a beacon of stability and reliability in a turbulent world. He described the summit as a unique opportunity to deepen engagement and foster a more ambitious, inclusive future-oriented partnership. Jaishankar noted that India's diplomatic footprint in Africa has expanded, with 46 missions now established across the continent. He emphasized that the relationship is grounded in mutual respect and shared progress, with historical ties rooted in solidarity against colonialism. The minister also highlighted India's commitment to supporting Africa's rightful place in global governance, citing the inclusion of the African Union in the G20 during India's presidency. This partnership is further enhanced by cooperation in defense, security, and maritime stability, particularly in the Indian Ocean Region.
