Tenebris Somnia, a retro survival-horror game, is set to launch on October 16 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by Saibot Studios and directed by Andrés Borghi, known for his work in horror films, the game features a unique combination of '90s-inspired 2D graphics and live-action cutscenes. Players take on the role of Julia, a young Argentine woman trapped in a nightmarish world filled with monsters, where they must solve puzzles and manage resources to survive. The game's aesthetic draws inspiration from classic titles like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, while its live-action segments enhance the horror experience. New Blood Interactive, the publisher, facilitated the collaboration between Borghi and Airdorf, the executive producer, who is known for the retro-horror series Faith: The Unholy Trinity. The game promises a visually stunning experience, combining vibrant pixel art with haunting live-action footage, making it an exciting addition to the horror genre just in time for Halloween.
