Despite the predictions favoring a strong showing for TVK, most polls suggest that MK Stalin's DMK is likely to retain power. Vijay, who has a significant following among youth and women, is campaigning on promises aimed at younger voters, such as student stipends and startup loans. The recent assembly elections saw a historic voter turnout of 85.1%, driven by a surge in first-time voters, indicating heightened political engagement in Tamil Nadu.
