Cobbs Creek Golf Club, located in West Philadelphia, is undergoing a major revitalization aimed at restoring its historical significance as a place of inclusion and opportunity. Established in 1916, the club has a rich legacy of welcoming golfers from diverse backgrounds, including women and Black players during times of segregation. The renovation project, which has a budget of $180 million, is supported by Tiger Woods, who plans to open a TGR Learning Lab on-site in 2025. This facility will offer educational programs and golf-related activities for youth in underserved areas, aligning with Woods' vision of using golf as a means to uplift the community.

The renovation also includes restoring the original design of the course, which has faced challenges such as flooding and disrepair, leading to its closure in 2020. The Cobbs Creek Foundation is committed to making the course accessible to all, aiming to host a PGA Tour event in the future. As part of the revitalization, the TGR Learning Lab has already served 7,000 students, providing them with opportunities to explore their passions and develop skills in various fields, including robotics. The overarching goal is to create a safe and innovative space for community engagement and growth.
