The investigation into the death of Twisha Sharma, a 33-year-old model and actor, has taken a dramatic turn following the release of CCTV footage showing her at a beauty salon in Bhopal shortly before her death. On May 12, Twisha spent nearly three hours at the salon for a head massage and pedicure, leaving around 6:15 PM. Tragically, she was later found hanging at her matrimonial home in the Katara Hills area. After her death, her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, a retired judge, repeatedly contacted the salon for proof of Twisha's visit and requested the CCTV footage. Subsequently, a group of five to six individuals claiming to be lawyers arrived at the salon and took the footage, raising questions about their true identities.

In response to the case's developments, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered a second autopsy to be conducted by a team from AIIMS Delhi, ensuring that Twisha's body is preserved at ultra-low temperatures for a thorough examination. Meanwhile, Twisha's husband, Samarth Singh, who had evaded arrest for ten days, surrendered in Jabalpur, prompting concerns from Twisha's family about potential favoritism due to his connections. An FIR has been filed against him and his mother for dowry death and cruelty, as the case continues to attract national attention.
