This strategic move is part of RRL's broader initiative to build high-growth consumer brands both in India and globally. Isha Ambani, executive director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, stated that Anomaly's global positioning and clean formulation philosophy make it a valuable addition to their portfolio. The acquisition enables Reliance to fully own Anomaly's intellectual property and digital ecosystem, allowing for significant scaling across its retail network and omnichannel platforms. The company aims to enhance Anomaly's brand equity and market share in India while also expanding its international presence in regions such as North America, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a co-founder of Anomaly, expressed excitement over the potential to reach more consumers through Reliance's extensive retail expertise and commitment to innovation.
