ACC Ltd, a cement firm part of the Adani Group, reported a 68.27% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹238.3 crore for the March quarter of FY26, down from ₹751.04 crore in the same period last year. Despite the profit drop, the company's revenue from operations rose 17.96% to ₹7,124.47 crore, marking its highest quarterly revenue ever. This growth was driven by an increase in sales of premium cement, which rose from 41% to 45% of trade sales, and a record sales volume of 11.9 million tonnes. Total expenses also increased by 22.7% to ₹6,826.24 crore. For the fiscal year, ACC's net profit fell 11% to ₹2,137.23 crore, with total income rising 14.66% to ₹26,363.8 crore. CEO Vinod Bahety noted the company's strong performance despite global volatility and energy cost pressures, emphasizing brand penetration and disciplined operations. ACC expects demand growth for FY27 to remain soft at 5%, influenced by potential agricultural impacts from a below-normal monsoon and ongoing geopolitical tensions. The company remains debt-free with a net worth of ₹20,554 crore and cash reserves of ₹918 crore. A dividend of ₹7.50 per share has been recommended, pending shareholder approval.
