However, the Meteorological Department has forecasted dust storms and mild showers for Jaipur and surrounding divisions starting Friday, which may provide some respite. The oppressive heat has led to reduced outdoor activity, with many residents opting to stay indoors, resulting in decreased traffic in commercial areas. Hospitals have seen a spike in cases of dehydration and heat exhaustion, especially among children and the elderly. Additionally, the demand for electricity has surged as residents rely heavily on air conditioning to cope with the heat.
