Continuous reviews of health monitoring measures ensure compliance with established standards. In response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak, Bahrain has enacted a 30-day travel suspension for foreigners arriving from South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Uganda. Similarly, Jordan has suspended entry for travelers from these countries. The outbreak has led to over 130 deaths in the DRC, with cases also reported in Uganda, where one death and one infection have been confirmed among Congolese nationals. The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed concern regarding the outbreak's scale and speed, declaring it an international health emergency. Vaccines are currently available only for the Zaire strain of Ebola, while no treatment exists for the Bundibugyo strain responsible for the current outbreak. Ebola has historically claimed over 15,000 lives in Africa over the past fifty years, underscoring the urgency of the situation.
