In Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the National TVET Council chairman and Deputy Prime Minister, announced that Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) has become a preferred choice for youth in Malaysia. Recent statistics reveal that 56.86% of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school leavers, equating to 229,121 students, opted for TVET, contributing to an overall enrolment of 459,558 across 1,398 institutions.
