The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made significant leadership changes in Uttar Pradesh and other states as part of preparations for the 2027 elections. New district presidents have been appointed in five UP districts, and state unit presidents have been named for Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Tripura.

In preparation for the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a major reshuffle of its leadership. New district presidents have been appointed for five districts in Uttar Pradesh: Dilip Dev Patel for Ambedkar Nagar, Ram Sakal Patel for Varanasi, Kashi Nath Singh for Chandauli, Ramesh Prasad Gupta for Gorakhpur Metropolis, and Kali Prasad for Deoria. Additionally, the party has named new state unit presidents in several states, including Kewal Singh Dhillon for Punjab, Archana Gupta for Haryana, Harsh Malhotra for Delhi, and Abhishek Debroy for Tripura. Dhillon, a former Congress member and loyalist of ex-Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, joined the BJP in June 2022. Malhotra is currently a Union Minister of State and serves as a Member of Parliament for East Delhi. Gupta pledged to serve with integrity and dedication, recognizing the collective efforts of party workers.
